The wayfarer was once asked by a villager in a town he was passing through, “Where are you going?”. The wayfarer stood there and thought for a while, he looked up and smiled at the villager and said, “I’m going home. Always home”. The villager looked at him curiously, “But why did you leave your home to one day return to the same place?”. The wayfarer, who wasn’t a young traveller anymore, looked up with a calmness and wisdom of an ancient and replied with piercing clarity, “That is the beauty of the journey. To return to a place and see it with new eyes, to feel it with a refreshed heart. I leave in hope of learning, I return in hope of seeing a new reality. One needs to journey not to see new places but to return to old places with a renewed spirit.” The wayfarer left the villager and continued on his journey.

There once was a sleepless vagabond, a creature that was neither human or animal. He was a sleepless vagabond that journeyed not just anywhere but was welcome everywhere. People experienced the vagabond in different ways. Some were surprised, others shy and still others were content and excited about the mysterious energy this curious creature brought to them. He was like a friend one could say, though he himself had none, he was everyone's. He didn't speak to you, or tell you what to do, he just guided you. He was the vagabond of all. He was always there to listen to us, one could say he was the companion of us all. His dwelling was not a house, or a hut, he didn't live on the land or in the sea. He lived not in the valley or on the mountain top. He existed where they all existed. In our heart.

One day you realised that the sleepless vagabond had entered your heart, he had entered violently not by his choice but by the circumstances of your own life. You had been sick, not the sickness of headaches or heartaches. You had the sickness of sadness. Now sadness was the worst of all maladies. It terrorised your life into fear. You saw nothing. You were almost gone until he came.  He had actually come to awaken you. He had come to console you. You were grateful. You started to smile. You knew that he had come to warm that empty space left in your heart. That was all that you needed. His little visit was like a brief yet touching reminder that life was a beautiful opportunity granted to awaken to our true reality. A reality filled with love and sincerity.

The sleepless vagabond asked you two questions before he left and that was all that he said.

- How much will you love?

- How will you live?

You were left lingering in thought...these questions had filled you with mixed emotions of the pain of what was, and the pleasure in what was to come.

At first destruction and disintegration may seem much swifter than the process of construction and integration. Yet, once the initial rage of destruction has subsided, one must continue on a path towards inevitable transformation. A path that may at first seem destructive is in essence constructive. Those moments when we rigorously self-examine, those moments when collective abomination occurs, those human tragedies that we all abhor, those natural turbulences that leave a trail of destruction; all may outwardly seem as destructive and disintegrative, yet inwardly they are as the initial sun that starts to gleam on the horizon, they are those moments when we are actually polishing the mirror of our hearts, and the path of our existence comes sharply into contrast with our daily reality. These challenges we face are not made to ruin us, but to uplift us, they are not made to destroy us, but create us, we are in a never ending, interconnected web of happenings, that are made at all times for our betterment. Yet are we aware of them, do we see them as such? If not let us wake up from the daze and see the rather the morning haze, that will with time disappear as the light of the sun rises higher with even greater heat and intensity to illumine our reality.

Now we just run around, heedlessly for money that we have already spent, for expenses we don't need, on things that are unnecessary. I wonder how much longer we will all suffer in our selfishness, oblivious to our true needs? A house filled with loved ones, isn't that our dream? Have we forgotten the reasons why we wanted those things in the first place? To create lasting, happy memories, or are we content with our loneliness, have we forgotten how to talk to people? Who knows? Everyone will just say its relative to your own experience and that nobody has the right to judge. I agree, its just that there are somethings that are just the same. The soul! No one would argue the fact that we all seek happiness in this life, of which the greatest way to experience it is with others. Those others in our lives are both the life and death of our existence. The challenge is just to be.

The path with its up and downs

bends and blind spots, beckons me.
To walk.

As i walk from point to point,
step by step, i pass through
storms and sun showers,
sunrises and sunsets.
Is it i who is changing the weather with my every step?
Is it i who is changing the landscape with my every breath?
left, right, left, right, inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale..
I keep walking on this path or is it a passage,
passed easily or with difficulty?
Why is it not a tunnel like all tales from darkness into light?
I guess there is no end to this path for it must be the journey.

We are all on the path at a certain place,
a specific time in our life.
On this path we sometimes walk,
shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand,
at other times we stop or slow down
whilst other continue to make strides.
It is neither ours nor theirs to judge the progress
of another. For all are on this path of existence.
It belongs to us all.

It is fixed, this path but no one knows where.
I walked and walked to the end of a path one day
thinking I had reached my goal, my destination, my will.
Were not these steps leading me aright?
A fork in the road back there was i right to have gone left,
or had i made the wrong right.
Maybe i had to create a new path all by myself.
Maybe others were to follow this new paved path?
Who knows for i was not at sea, where there is no path to see?
Maybe i should jump into the fathomless deep,
lost within the fluid path,
ocean moving me, wave to wave, from tide to tide?

It wasn't up to me to decide if the path was right for me,
it was just meant to be.
Every one is on the same path,
we just think it to be different.
You are you and i am me.
together we make unity
but why is it that we never see this beautiful reality.

You tell me i need to be on this path,
i say to you this one,
yet we fail to see that from the sun it is neither you or me,
neither land nor sea but specs of dust floating in the black sea
of the super strange galaxy.

What else can one say of an infinite path with finite words?

May this be fleck of dust,
this flower, this tree
this ray of sunshine,
this drop of rain,
be signs to you
on the path of your mystery.

The path that ultimately leads to eternity
though you'll never know nor see.
Just be....

Thomas was a young man who was always filled with energy. Energy is a good thing people would tell him. He didn't realise it but he was always on the move from one thought to another, from one place to another. He was in motion. One day he found himself just sitting still. The sun was radiating on his face while he was reading as he waited to get to another place. He felt as though there was something new about this experience, but he wasn't sure. He closed the book and looked up. All he could see was movement, interspersed with pauses of motion. He thought to himself what was different about him and his experience? In a split moment it came to him. He was still, sitting, not moving. He felt a joy a curiosity that one experiences when they do something for the first time. This was the feeling he was having. He was still. His movement was animated by the movement that surrounded him. He was in motion while being still. This was the motion-stillness continuum of his reality!

I write while in motion.
How would I write in stillness?

Would these words move too?
Or would they stand still?

Is not the act of writing a movement?
Is not my speaking a movement?
Are not my thoughts movement?
Will they ever be still?

When i'm awake i'm neither fully still
or forever in motion. I am in transit.

What about my dreams?
What about my sleep?
There is no stillness in them either.

ah..maybe stillness is quite,
maybe its loud,
maybe its just the pause between
movement that we call stillness.

Whatever it is, it is...
for we will never know complete stillness
or perpetual momvent.

We will just be still in motion.
Moving from stillness to stillness.
The inner essence of movement.

Do we ever take the time to be still in the world that is constantly in motion? How important is movement to us both psychologically, physically and spiritually? We are constantly moving from one state of being to another, from one place to another, from one thought to another. It is fundamental to our existence. Without movement we would whittle away to nothing, we would be lost. At the same time something that is as paramount as movement to our existence is stillness. Stillness is the requirement of expansive movement. the ability to stay still, to rest are of utmost importance. Just like those who wander are not always lost. Those who are still, silent and reflective are just moving at a different pace. One could say that both are necessary elements of our existence if we are to be fully alive and perceptive of our every experience in every moment.

To be fully liberated in this life one must be true to the natural callings and promptings of the human soul. Just as the creatures of the natural world obey unconsciously their needs, that sustain and perpetuate their growth. We as human beings must also obey the command of God and the emanation of such a God in our Universe; presented to us in our social, emotional, physical, and spiritual lives. To endeavour ceaselessly and sincerely in this task of obedience, we come to be free, available to live fully in a world struck by constant turmoil. We come to live by the boundlessness of the Kingdom and not the boundedness of the world. We become that drop that has merged with the might sea. We become free.

The sun shines in my eyes, through the open window, I am reading, thinking, experiencing, this beautiful moment. In deep thought with music to inspire me on. We each get closer and closer. To what i don't know, to a place unknown, to a reality far removed from us. The breeze starts to to enter the room, the leaves and brancehs are swaying in the breeze. They form a moving barrier between me and the sunlight. It is an expericne that is not from this world. I remember that i am still in this world, who am what am i doing, are we lost, im smiling at the mystery....we are all so strange and beautiful.....

The feeling to read and write has intensified since my return from the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity and my trip to Sydney, conversing with my fellow human beings on the meaning of my reality, seeking coherence and understanding. I was fascinated once again by learning. An idea Friere shares is that "education isn't for life, education is life". I realised once again at that moment the profound impact learning has on ones life as an essential requirement for advancement and growth in all areas of our existence.

Linking with this idea of life long learning was that I was thinking about how to translate a yearning for excitement into a commitment to long term action. I have come to believe that commitment to long term action implies spiritual qualities and attitudes. They draw on the sacred qualities of the soul such as steadfastness, perseverance, persistence and patience. Such commitment requires the individual to move beyond instinctual compliance to the pleasure principle, an animalistic trait that has man tied to the shackles of his material life, seeking at every moment, a superficial joy, a euphoric feeling that may sustain them at best for a day, week or maybe even a year, but definitely not a life time. To move beyond the hedonistic view of our reality that we exist for our simple momentary pleasures. To also realise the paradox we live in, to understand that we must be fully engaged in the moment not just for now but for tomorrow. To think of our present as the future in the past. If we take such a view we will not be living in the present for the pure recreation of so called beautiful feelings and experiences but will realise the enduring affect our thoughts and actions will have on the future, if we act with the intent for an enduring advancement.

It reminds me of the two lines in paragraph 5 of the December 28 Message 2010 of the Universal House of Justice where They write: "Unqualified love free from paternalism will be indispensable if they are to help turn hesitation into courage born of trust in God and transform a yearning for excitement into a commitment to long-term action. Calm determination will be vital as they strive to demonstrate how stumbling blocks can be made stepping stones for progress."

What crucial and beautiful ramifications such concepts would have on our thoughts and actions?

The red in our reality is here, there and everywhere while at the same time nowhere. Colour as we know it, is the reflection of light transferred to our eyes and then through to our brain, when we register and recognise this particular shade or phase on the spectrum as red. The funny thing is how do we know, what is what, and how it came to be regarded in such a way. Red has so many cultural connections that in many places language has developed to cater for the variety of usage when describing something that is of the colour red. It even depends on the context in which that colour is presented.

Another interesting observation was that once red was raised from my unconscious to my conscious thoughts, as is the norm when something permeates your thoughts, it was everywhere. I may as well have had bright red glasses on, seeing everything with a red tinge. Things such as stop signs, lights, cars, clothes, and signs seemed to be in the majority. I was suddenly overcome by the redness of my reality. Even now as I look up around my room I can see a red book, red jumper, red speedos, and a red box thing that you can keep things in. The following story is based on one of those moments when red presented itself.

So the story goes....

"Hmmm" the old lady says to herself as she sits herself down on the bench waiting for her bus to come. I look at her as I ride past on my bike at a zooming pace, wondering what it is she is thinking about and where is she going, what has her life been like, is she happy, does she know what happens when she dies, I wonder if she is lonely? Suddenly I realise she is wearing a red jacket and adjusting her wide brimmed red fashion hat. I thought to myself, what occasion demands red, a colour of passion, life, beauty and emotion? I never asked her any of these questions but realised at that moment - red reality. Or was it all just my current perception, my current frame of reference?

Red reality I said to myself was my reality. It was the way in which I lived my life, filled with vigour, passion, beauty and emotion. The red stuff pumping throughout my body was red, most of my organs were a pinkish-red, I may as well have been called the red man or for that matter, maybe the whole human race should, could and will be called the red race. A race of men incomparable in character, but biologically identical - red.

How would this realisation of our redness, our oneness have on the way we perceived others? Would we come to see each other as collaborators working collectively, vigourously, and passionately for a better world for all? I saw hope. In the mean time the lady has probably got her bus, and gone wherever she had to go, wholly unaware of the impact her red coat and hat had on my life, my red reality.

Let us all strive to align ourselves to an even greater measure to this overriding life objective. The conscious evolution, the unremitting quest towards this unseen, mystic beauty of synergy. A synergy with the Kingdom, that will express the inner in the outer, the individual in the collective, the spiritual manifest in the physical. This is the supreme honour of man!

The need to step out and experience LIFE, means that we must go beyond what we thought to be previously unreachable, unattainable, and illogical. To be audacious, courageous and confident in all that we do, are, and will be, is the surest way in developing a life of extreme beauty! To be conscious of the fact that living life in such a realm demands sacrifice. To understand that such daring moments are exhilarating...To understand that sacrifice is both the mystery and the energy of this cyclic scheme......P.R.A.

Mystery

The mystery of life is the mystery of sacrifice,
The mystery of sacrifice is the mystery of love,
The mystery of love is the mystery of the Creator.

One lives to die, the other dies to live!
The binding force between the Creator and Creation
is forever One, but ever moving!
To see the end in the beginning and the beginning in the end.
This is the Mystery of eternity!

Service

May our lives be but a drop in service,
in the Ocean of the Absolute!
May our lives be devoted to Him.
May we live all the days of our life, with Him!
the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

The state of mind which enables a man to do work of this kind is akin to that of the religious worshipper or the lover; the daily effort comes from no deliberate intention or program, but straight from the heart!

EINSTEIN!

Life is filled with many wonderful experiences, however it is up to us to go out there and seek them out! To gain experience in anything in life we must be prepared for the struggle, the challenge in which we will face at different situations and points in our efforts to gain a greater understanding of LIFE.

This quote from Einstein for me is one of the most beautiful, enlightened and powerful quotes in the world. In which it is purely stating the obvious about the power of the Universal Language of the world "LOVE"!

To do anything with LOVE and passion you will succeed. To love your work is to raise it to a form of worship, to love art work, to do art work with love can raise it to the rank of worship. To love absolutely anything in life, with a passion and desire to bring out the best in yourself, your family, your community, you will see the transforming affect that the Universal Language does have over the whole world!

In life we must not be afraid of love, fore it is the most beautiful, most unique experiences that will allow us to understand a life that is beyond a life without love! Love yourself, love family, love your community, Love your work, love your studies, love your environment, love the people around you, LOVE WHAT YOU LOVE and become overwhelmed!

To love is to be alive, to wake up in the morning with a LOVE FOR LIFE! To LOVE is beyond words! To put your heart and soul into your life, the people and places around you, the activities that you enjoy doing! This is what it means to be in LOVE!

JUST DO IT! LOVE!

We must live life, love life with no true intention but to grow and expand so that we may gain new and wonderful insights into Creation and humanities ever advancing life towards a predestined existence!

To love is but a state of MIND! Bring yourself closer to it!

LOVE LIFE!

To have a desired want is crucial in all that we do in life.  If we want a happy life, if we want a prosperous life, if we want a life filled with service, if we want anything in life we must have a desire for it.

If you have no desired want for anything you will continually fall in life, feeling as though nothing in this world ever existed, feeling that the world that is neglecting you and not listening to your needs and wants. If you have a want, you will have, if you have a vision, you will progress.

If you do anything with purity of motive and the desired want to achieve, learn, grow and develop from anything that you do, you will have all you ever wanted. Just remember have the desire, the patience, the love and you will come upon your want/s in the most beautiful overwhelming and joyous ways that words alone can not express the true feeling of having and arriving at your desired want!

To however arrive at a destination one must go through the process of living. Through trial and error, sadness and happiness, crisis and victory. A twin process in all things existed, existing, and to be existed is ever prevalent in the two might connected processes of wanting and having.

WANT what you WANT!

Are you happy? Are you happy? Are you happy?

This is question in which we are all striving to find the answer too! What is true happiness? Where does this life pursuit lead us towards? How are we going to achieve this? Who is apart of this journey towards happiness?

The pursuit of happiness is a process of trial and error, crisis and victory, joy and pain! We must all be grateful for all experiences that we encounter! Fore they are the experiences that are apart of who we are striving to become and the people we are becoming!

True happiness is the fundamental basis for life's physical existence! In my mind, the one way in which we can find this true happiness is through allowing ourselves, our families, our communities and therefore our humanity to become happy is by being connected to the One All-Mighty Creator! When we are of service to His Creation, His Humanity, His Nature we are fulfilling our duty as human beings!  To LOVE is the key to true happiness! To love all things! To see the beauty in all things! To learn from mistakes! Love is the Universal Language allowing the world to connect to the Soul of the World and therefore finding the key to true happiness! Loving this world and trusting in God is a test that is filled with joy and pain!

True happiness is again a unique and different feeling, places and existence for all beings! The point is though we are happy beings! We are beings made to be happy, to find happiness, to be apart of happiness, to be HAPPY! I would love to leave you with a beautiful Baha'i quote on Happiness!

"In this world we are influenced by two sentiments, Joy and Pain. Joy gives us wings! In times of joy our strength is more vital, our intellect keener, and our understanding less clouded. We seem better able to cope with the world and to find our sphere of usefulness. But when sadness visits us we become weak, our strength leaves us, our comprehension is dim and our intelligence veiled. The actualities of life seem to elude our grasp, the eyes of our spirits fail to discover the sacred mysteries, and we become even as dead beings. There is no human being untouched by these two influences; but all sorrow and the grief that exists come from the world of matter--The spiritual world bestows only the JOY! If we suffer it is the outcome of material things, and all the trials and troubles come from this world of illusion."

So don't be afraid of the world of illusions however rise above it and be apart of the spiritual worlds that bestow only JOY!

Be happy! Be happy! Be happy!

Life is Beautiful!

To submit our self to God's Will is a task in which is potentially the most challenging in this existence!

We have the capacity to bend our self into conformity to God's Will but sometimes we still choose not to as we feel we have the answer and know what God wants for us! This is a personal challenge in which only we can go through! It is apart of the journey of life! We will go through this struggle but must strive with all our heart to connect our hearts with Gods so that in time we can understand what it means to be in absolute submission unto Him!

The point of striving to do anything with absolute heart and devotion will bring about hidden blessings! When we strive to bring our self onto Gods Path, imagine what potential Hidden bounties may be bestowed upon us! We will experience, see, feel and be apart of certain experiences that can not be explained! I leave you with a beautiful Hidden Words selection from Baha'u'llah the Founder of the Baha'i Faith.

O MY FRIENDS! Have ye forgotten that true and radiant morn, when in those hallowed and blessed surroundings ye were all gathered in My presence beneath the shade of the tree of life, which is planted in the all-glorious paradise? Awe-struck ye listened as I gave utterance to these three most holy worlds: O friends! Prefer not your will to Mine, never desire that which I have not desired for you, and approach Me not with lifeless hearts, defiled with worldly desires and cravings. Would ye but sanctify your souls, ye would at this present hour recall that place and those surroundings, and the truth of My utterance should be made evident unto all of you.

Do all on your journey to make these surroundings, these truths manifest and evident in your life, so that you may once again be in His presence beneath the shade of the tree of life!

BE BRAVE! BE of SERVICE! BE OF GOD!

The predestined Flight is one is which is forever going to be a mystery to humanity! It is a process of life and one in which will forever be a beautiful process of progression!

The point of passing on, is not one in which should be thought of as difficult one but rather a process of rebirth! It is a process in which is BEAUTIFUL!

Baha'u'llah the Founder of the Baha'i Faith in one of his most beautiful Hidden words on the progression of the Soul says: O SON OF THE SUPREME! I have made death a messenger of joy to thee. Wherefore dost thou grieve? I made the light to shed on thee its splendor. Why dost thou veil thyself therefrom?

This quote for me is overwhelming and is truly magnificent! What does such JOY mean? We can not even comprehend the truth of these words for they are beyond the existence of the physical world! They are in worlds beyond our comprehension! All i do know, feel and love about these hidden Realms are that they are HAPPY!

However; how can we reach this happy station without being happy here first or submitting our self to the Will of God! This world is the only world in which we have the opportunity to develop and grow! The other worlds are totally up to God, the ways in which we experience those joyous moments of our spiritual existence are then beyond our capacity! That is why i am struck again by this other Hidden Word of Baha'u'llah's in which he prescribes unto all: " O SON OF BEING! Seek a martyr's death in My path, content with My pleasure and thankful for that which I ordain, that thou mayest repose with Me beneath the canopy of majesty behind the tabernacle of glory."

My grandfather having just passed away this morning in the early hours of today, allows me to reflect and think upon my own life and ways in which i will strive to bring out the best in my life and live my life to the absolute until my very last breath, moving every bone in fear of having reached that stage without having fulfilled my Personal Legend! My life's purpose! In fear of not being beneath that canopy of majesty, that one day i also will have the opportunity to be among those most Blessed Souls in the Tabernacle of Glory assisting the advancement of civilisation from another point!

To live beyond death starts at the point of conception! Our life is one great big mirror of our spiritual existence in the Realms to come! LIVE ON! LOVE ALL! Do all that you can in this physical world fore this is your foundation in the worlds to come!

May we all submit to the Lord of all the Worlds in this predestined Flight towards Glory!
